City Sound and Fiber Optic Center, Inc. This month features Andy McWain and the Blueprint Ensemble. In the
Kaller Beef Building parking lot on Centre Street. Sets
at 5:30 & 7:15pm. Rain location: Citizens Union Savings Bank (corner
of William & Purchase Street).
Featuring Dino Govoni on saxophone, Sean Farias on bass and Chris Poudrier on drums. Pianist/composer McWain is a key member of the UMass Dartmouth music faculty and is in demand from north of Boston to Provincetown and into CT. He will be playing several of his own compositions as well as standards from the jazz songbook. Dino Govoni teaches at Berklee College in Boston and is one of the more intense and fiery performers on the jazz scene anywhere.
